Meet the Teachers
Alejandra Londono
Mrs. Alejandra Londono is a passionate reading educator and the founder of Young Readers Academy. With over 10 years of teaching experience—both in the classroom and online—she specializes in helping young learners build strong reading foundations in a fun and engaging way.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from UCF (Go Knights! 🏈) and is a certified K-6 teacher with a background in teaching Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Her approach to teaching is warm, supportive, and interactive, ensuring that every child feels confident and excited about learning.
When she’s not teaching, Mrs. Londono enjoys spending time with her sweet baby girl in sunny Florida, just minutes from Disney World. She is also a huge animal lover with six furry friends and dreams of one day owning a pet pig. 🐷
Ally Klein
Ms. Ally is a caring and student-centered educator who brings creativity and heart into every lesson. With a background in reading intervention and special education, she has experience supporting a wide range of learners, including students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
She holds a degree in Education and is passionate about helping all children grow in their reading, phonics, and vocabulary skills. Her calm and consistent teaching style helps students feel confident, capable, and cared for as they learn.
Outside of teaching, Ms. Ally enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. She loves hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and relaxing at the lake. Her love for nature and family shines through in her patient and joyful approach to teaching.
Kelci Davis
Ms. Kelci is a passionate and student-centered educator who loves helping young learners build a strong foundation in reading. She is a proud graduate of the University of Florida (Go Gators! 🐊) and holds certifications in Special Education and a Reading Endorsement in the state of Florida, bringing both expertise and heart to every lesson.
With experience teaching phonics through UFLI and early reading skills using Benchmark Advance, Ms. Kelci has supported students of all abilities and learning styles. She believes in the power of productive struggle—encouraging children to make mistakes, learn, and grow with confidence.
Her lessons are creative, engaging, and filled with encouragement, helping each child feel supported and excited about learning to read. Ms. Kelci brings warmth, positivity, and a true love for teaching into everything she does.
Maryanne Koester
Ms. Maryanne is a dedicated and experienced educator with over 30 years in the field of education. Throughout her career, she has worked with students from kindergarten through college, but her true passion lies in teaching young learners how to read and write. She loves helping children build a strong foundation in phonics, reading fluency, comprehension, and writing—watching their confidence and love for learning grow with each lesson.
A certified teacher in Maine, Ms. Maryanne has completed more than 33 advanced Master-level and specialized program courses. She uses this extensive knowledge to train fellow educators, support students, and partner closely with families to ensure every child succeeds.
When she’s not teaching, Ms. Maryanne enjoys traveling (both in person and through the pages of a good book 📖). She’s a big science fiction fan and an animal lover, especially when it comes to her dog and cat. 🐕🐈
